A school district in Yuma, AZ is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their team for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time, onsite position offers a 40-hour workweek and a diverse K-12 caseload with the opportunity to share your placement preferences.
Position Details:
- Location: Yuma, AZ
- Start Date: August 4, 2025
- End Date: May 27, 2026
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 40 hours per week
- Caseload: K-12 students (mixed caseload, preferences considered)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Occupational Therapists in delivering therapy services to students
- Implement individualized treatment plans under OT supervision
- Assist students in developing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Document student progress and communicate with the therapy team
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
Requirements:
- Active Arizona COTA License (Required)
- Associates degree from an ACOTE-accredited program
- School-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
